Rivers Institute for Contemporary Art & Thought invites you to join us in the galleries for the opening of Original Order Order Original: The Art and Archives of Bettina, presented in partnership with the Ruth Foundation for the Arts in Milwaukee, WI, on Thursday, October 16, 2025, from 5pm-7pm CT.
Original Order Order Original: The Art and Archives of Bettina explores the work and archive of the artist know as Bettina (1927-2021) in an exhibition that will unfold and transform in the galleries across the next six months.
This event is free and open to the public. No RSVP is required.

Although no food is permitted in the gallery, the Lola Empanadas food truck will be serving food and drinks while parked outside the space in the lot.
Free street parking and limited reserved parking spaces are available in the parking lot located on the east side of the building. The space is accessible via Milwaukee County Transit System bus lines 18, 19, 80, 15, and the green line with stops on 1st street, approximately .2 miles to the east of 325 W. Florida Street and is located .9 miles south of the Milwaukee Intermodal Station, with access from Amtrak, Greyhound, and other interstate bus routes. Bike racks are available in front of the parking lot on the east side of the building.
All public spaces at 325 are wheelchair accessible. The front door is located at ground level with no step. The entrance is wheelchair accessible with ramp access to the gallery space.
